The most expensive pacifier in the world * AdultPacifier Ripple 8
We're continuing the ride and the reviews. I've been planning on this one for a while. It is a product of the American company "Pacifiers are us" - www.pacifiersrus.com or also www.adultpacifier.com.
As stated in the title, a more expensive mass-produced pacifier is hard to find. That's an objective superlative.
A purely subjective superlative? The best pacifier in the world... :) Definitely not for everyone. For me, yes. It's latex. It's the finest quality latex I've ever encountered in a large soother. Great smooth, blemish-free surface. The manufacturer pays special attention to the thickness of the latex - so the pacifier takes its original shape and air immediately after release. Thanks to the thick latex, the soother as a whole has an excellent durability.
Adult pacifier manufactures both "orthodontic" pacifiers - flattened, and "therapeutic" pacifiers - large round (olive, cherry). The Ripple pacifier described here is halfway between the two - it is symmetrical and flattened at the same time. Similar to teats of MAM baby pacifiers.
The manufacturer also copied the shield from the proven MAM pacifiers, which he only stretched a little to the sides.
I am currently describing a model with a "ring" that touches the nose when turned up.
Other than the price, I don't know of any other cons.
Also, objective information is that AdultPacifier is probably the longest running adult pacifier company. And they haven't changed their pricing policy (as well as their website) in decades. Even so, they still offer quality products...
